Yanaka HOTEL is an art project by Aya Tsuboi. Basically it’s a room in a shared house; a white cube, the gallery for you. The space presents only her works. Each room has an unique title and room number. Virtually, all rooms in the past are stored at the Yanaka hotel and same with forth coming rooms.
Unlike traditional art works, this project is designed to refuse representation. Thus it might be difficult to find clear meanings/messages for each room. When the hotel is filled with tons of rooms virtually, something distinct is expected to come up.
The space will be occasionally open to the public when her work is ready.
